SCRIPTURE

         03 - 05 - 01

      Konniti wa tomodati,

Hey guess what? MIT has closed today from 3pm until 8am
tomorrow. We have to wait for further notice. I was surprised cuz apparently
MIT never closes. But it did today (of course these hours there aren't really
classes going on anyway, so in effect they just cancelled all office hours,
which is where students can go see their TA for help; cancelled anybodies
plans of going to da gym, lab, work to make some money, me going to jiu jitsu
tonight grrrrr, etc). So ya must be wonderin why, well for those of you not
in this region of America, we are getting a blizzard!!!! It's gonna be
tight! This is gonna be my first ever blizzard. They say some areas may get
3 feet of snow! yuuuuupp. Snow football here i come, most def. Aight aight
aight, on to Scripture.

Kyoo, I read many things in John. Man, that is an interesting book!
There's lots of stuff that i knew about but didnt know where in the Bible they
were, and low and behold, they are in John. For instance the shortest verse
in the Bible is John 11:35 "Jesus wept." The line the a song by Crossmovement
"Verily Verily undastand, before Abraham was, I Am," is found in John 8:58.
Aight, but here is the verse of today, John 11:49-53

49 Then one of them, named Caiaphas, who was high priest that year,
spoke up, "You know nothing at all! 50 You do not realize that it is
better for you that one man die for the people than the whole nation
perish." 51 He did not say this on his own, but as high priest that
year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the Jewish nation, 51 and
not only for that nation but also for the scattered children of God,
to bring them together and make them one. 53 So from that day on they
      plotted to take his life.

Man, this was neeeeews ta me. A lil background for ya, Jesus had been doin
maaaaad miracles including raising Lazarus from the dead. So these Chief
priests and Pharisees got together and are like, "dag yo, what we gonna do?
Dis kat be doing maaad miracles. If we let him continue, man, everyone will
believe in him, and then those Romans will come and snatch our temple and
nation" (verse 47-48). And then the top dawg Caiaphas says, "IDIOTS!!! dont
ya get it? its best for one kat ta die than the whole litter." Here comes
the surprising part. This high priest knew this because he had prophesied
that Jesus would die for the Jewish nation. Now i just dont get it, so ya
tellin me that all this time these top dawgs and pharisees knew that homeboy
Jesus was gonna die for them? And what really blows my mind is that they also
knew then that, from the rest of the prophecy, homeboy Jesus' death would also
be for the scattered children of God, to bring both them and the jewish nation
"together and make them one." They knew this cuz one of their people, their
very own high priest, prophesied it!! Now that blew my mind, but not as much
as the next verse... "So from that day on they plotted to take his
life.".........
Man, see this? They knew, yet they did not know. They heard, yet they did not
hear. Instead they would plot ta kill da Man and mask it as the prophesy
happening (to their surprise, by plotting they actually did fulfill the
prophecy, talk about irony huh?) It blows my mind that one of their very own
prophesied the truth about Jesus, and instead of seeing the truth they used it
to their own designs, to plot a kill. And from this we see that it is true
that some are ever hearing, but do not hear, some are every seeing, but do not
see. Let's not be that guy bruthaz and sistaz.

Aight aight, time to wreak havoc on these here problem sets yo and beat
them to a pulp. mmmhmmm, "we can't stop now... can't stop..."

      God bless,

      Halo,

Whas happenin' peoples? Nothin much here. Guess what? Apparently, all
schools in Boston closed 3 days ago (tuesday the 6th). Did MIT close?
Nooo....
This place stayed open yo. I dont get it, i just dont get it. Oh the reason
every place closed was because a blizzard was in town. yup yup. Well, here
is some mo' word fo' yo' bird, Scripture.

Kyoo i hit up James chapter 4. There was mad tight verses in here. One
was talking about quarrelling and how it is worthless since most of the time
it erupts from desires we have within us. yup yup, but thats not the verse i
wanna talk about, check this one out, verses 13-15

13 Now listen, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that
city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money." 14 Why, you
do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a
mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15 Instead, you
ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that."

When i was a young git, heh heh, my parents used to always say (in their
native tongue), "demain si dieu veux" which means, "tomorrow if God wills."
And i never knew what it meant but i used to always say it when i spoke to my
grandma or any of the haitian people who spoke french/creole. The other
variation is with the word "a" in front which will mean "until tomorrow, if
God wills" Sort of like a farewell. Then i grew to know what i was actually
saying, and i thought, man, that is tight. Take a look, this world has been
around for a while, humans have been around for a while, but our lifespan
compared to how long the world has been in existence, is but a speck, a mist.
Yet, we go about saying, "yeah tomorrow this that this and that that and this"
But we dont even know if we are going to see tomorrow. Interesting huh.
Every morning when i wake, and most times when i pray during the day i say
"Thanks God for allowing me to see this day that you have made cuz their are
some who had not that chance." Why worry of the things of tomorrow when you
still have today, especially when today may be all that one has left. One
does not know when that time will be, so instead say, If it's Pop's will, Ill
see ya tomorrow and we can do this and that and this this and that and aaaaall
o' DAT heh heh knowing fully that it will be a day God has made.

Aight potnas, its time for me ta dip. peace ouuuuut!!! "A demain si
Dieu veux mon amie!"

      God bless,

      - patrick

         03 - 12 - 01

      hey HEY hey,

Bizzuuuuuuup? Yall chillin? Things are goin pretty well over here.
My sensei earned his 2nd degree black belt in American Jiu Jitsu on saturday.
The founder of the art came here to MIT to promote him. It was tight. But
now the week marches on, I got two killer tests back to back, one tuesday and
one on wednesday. SOOOO, ill be uh studyin for some time. But ain't no thang
nawmean (know what i mean)? heh heh, aight, on to Scripture.

Well well well, Kyoo I read John 12:23-36. Interesting it is because
some of it I had not known before. Chickitty check this out:

27 "Now my heart is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save me
from this hour'? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour.
28 Father, glorify your name!" Then a voice came from heaven, "I have
glorified it, and will glorify it again." 29 The crowd that was there
and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to
      him.

Some people ask the question, why did the Christ come? And here Jesus says it
plainly. So he is talkin to some people and he says "Now my heart is
troubled." So, homeboy is a lil troubled for he knows what he must soon face.
Then he says ", and what shall I say?" in other words, what excuse can I
make, should i say, "Father, save me from this hour?" That would be a nice
excuse, just escape this trial by asking the Father to take it away. I like
how Jesus did this here, cuz he shows that one should not make excuses for
every single thing. Imagine, if Jesus made this excuse concrete for this
thing, his purpose in coming would never have been fulfilled. One of my
friends told me one time, "Sometimes ya got to grit your teeth and bear it."
In other words, stop makin excuses, do not be cowardly. Be strong. So Jesus
continues by saying, heeeeeeck naw I aint gonna say anything like that for "it
was for this very reason I came to this hour." His very purpose, besides
bringing and spreading the Word, was to die for the sins of man and be that
last sacrifice, a bridge connecting us to the Father. So no, Jesus was not
going to make any excuses, yes his heart was troubled, but making excuses
results in nothing. The next two verses I thought were tight. Cuz Jesus
says, "Father, glorify your name!", and then a voice from heaven said I have,
and will again. Just a voice and the crowd said it had thundered and others
said an angel had spoken. Either way, it must have been amazing. All in all,
be brave, stand firm, and be bold, do not cower away and make excuses, but
come forward. No doubt.

Aight peeps, time ta hit da books. Catch ya latah. Peace out.

      God bless,

      - patrick

         03 - 15 - 01

      Hey bruthaz and sistaz,

Today has been a pretty good day. Exams are done for this week so the
rest of the week I'm basically chillin, which is always gooood heh heh. no
doubt. Other than that, everything is pretty much same old same old. This
weekend should be tight. There are 3 events going on this weekend, Chi Alpha
City wide meeting on friday (mad tight mad tight), my house is throwing a
party on friday night, and saturday is going to be a special event for the
ladies of Chi Alpha MIT. yup yup. aight, on to Scripture.

      Kyoo, I read Hebrews 6:7,8

7 Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces crop
useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God.
8 But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in
danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.

hmmm (soo desu nee). So land that drinks the rain and produces crop that
helps peeps get blessed, but land that drinks and produces just the opposite
is worthless and in the end will be burned. hmmmm.... what kind of land do i
wanna be, hmmmm.... YUP land that produces somethin useful cuz you are in
another win-win-win-win situation. Checkit, first, you actually produce crop!
heeeeck yeah, that means we aint chillin there lookin all anorexic and stuff
produces nothin. Mad tight, we got a function, we are worth something.
Second, even tighter, our crop is useful to others! Its like, BAAAAAAM im
producin crop, and then BAAAAAAM its helpin you out in a myriad of ways. Ya
got to be feelin good about yourself now. shonuf. Cha-ching. OH but wait,
there's more, not only do you produce crop, and that crop helps peeps, but by
doing this little thing, you receive the blessing of God! BAAAAAAAAAAM! What
more could one ask for? You just chillin, producin crop, listening to some
reggae and swaying with the beat, seein people helped by your crop and so you
start cheesin cuz your crop is mad tight, and then here come da blessings from
God. Blessing in any area yo. It's from God, then, man, its GOT to be good.
There's no doubt. Meanwhile you're just chillin and producin. So you not
only won once, not only twice, but three times. And the blessings come by the
grace of God. man, but that's not all. there's one more thing, in the end
that land is not burned. Well well, what could that possibly mean? Maybe
that that land continues to exist? hmmm, possibly, in any case it doesnt get
burned. BAAAAAM! Win-Win-Win-Win. What worry could this kat possibly have,
in every way, this kat wins, and s/he is chillin. On the other hand, if we
are land that doesn't produce crop, and instead produces thorns and thistles
(stuff that hurts people, you ever get pricked by a thorn? dag THAT HURTS!!!
...soemtimes heh heh), we lose the blessings that God would have bestowed
upon us. Not only that, but this land becomes worthless. It serves no useful
function and just keeps hurtin people. What point is there to exist? It's
like a parasite that keeps taking away and taking away but never contributing.
And in the end, it will be burned...... In other words, its gone, never to be
around again. That's 4 strikes, lose-lose-lose-lose (and that last lose, man
that sucks big time). So the question is, which land will you be? Land that
produces crop? or land that produces thorns?

Be land that produces crop bruthaz and sistaz, cuz then you're chillin
all day long, smug in a win-win-win-win situation.

Aight, this has been a mo' word for yo' bird production, time to bizounce
(gots ta go to work, grrrr....) latah

      God bless,

      - patrick

         03 - 19 - 01

      WasssuuUuUUp!!!

Hey, its Monday, and its a niiiice day. The only thing that is bringin
it down.... is WORK!!! man oh man, for how many of you is this week gonna be
killah? I know that for most of the kats from MIT, this week is gonna be
hardcore. see we got spring break next week.... and that means MIT is gonna
cram as much stuff as possibe before we go, hence, in a perverted twisted kind
of way, we'll be that much more grateful for our break. grrrrrr, ah well.
anyway, got get FIRED UP, FIRED UP and take this week head on and be like
"BAAAAAAM get out my way, you can't hold me, YOU can't hold ME" heh heh.
Aight on to Sukuriputaa

Kyoo, I read John 7:25-44. Verse 33 and 34 were profound. checkit

33 Jesus said, "I am with you for only a short time, and then I go to
the one who sent me. 34 You will look for me, but you will not find
me; and where I am, you cannot come."

Before homeboy said this, some peeps from Jeru (Jerusalem for you non-ebonics
speakin old fogeys, heh heh, jk) were again at it, questioning Jesus and
tryin to make him slip. These kats were like, "they say that when the Christ
comes, no one will know where he is from, yet we know where you are from."
And they said more stuff like that and the Pharisees were there to listening
intently. Then Jesus said his piece, and this was part of it. Very
significant, these people are looking for the Christ, some find him, some
don't, and homeboy is right there in front of them. And so He says "I am with
you for only a short time..." Time is so important that even one second could
mean the difference between life and death. If we think about it, how many
things are done in one second? Look at computers, they operate in nanoseconds
and picoseconds and such, very very small intervals of time. And in these
intervals, if a slight error occurs in a signal (either reading or writing),
and corrective measures don't catch it, maaaad stuff can go down. Time, once
it's passed it cannot be brought back. It's gone forever. And so Jesus is
lettin them know, "ya know, I aint gonna be wit ya fa ever, it's gonna be time
when i gots ta go back to da One who sent me." In other words, he is tellin
the people that time is not on their side, in fact its not on anybody's side,
that is, if you waste it. Many waste time making up all kinds of excuses and
flawed reasoning, and then the time will come and it will be too late. At
this point, when it's too late, they will look, but they will not find and
where homeboy is, they cannot come. Literally, at that specific instance in
Jesus day, it's because Jesus is gonna be crucified purty soon, and literally
they will look for him and he wont be around, it will be too late and where he
went they cannot come. Spiritually, people will look and look but they won't
find him because it will be too late. When they had the time, they wasted it,
and when it ran out, it became too late. They'll look, and won't find, and
where homeboy is, they cannot go. And the thing is, one second could have
been in enough, but the time wasted, or other circumstances arose taking away
time. So what is it that the Word is trying to let us know? Simple, don't be
that guy/girl. Don't waste time, it is too precious, and even more precious
than some may realize. It could mean the difference between life and death
physically as well as spiritually. Seek now, not later. We know not if later
will come.

Aight bruthaz and sistaz, time to hit MIT head on nawmean (know what i mean
...that's patspeak heh heh...) This has been another installment of mo' word
fo' yo bird ministries, heh heh, peaceout bruthaz and sistaz!

      God bless,

      - patrick

         03 - 21 - 01

      Hey,

Sup? It's da middle of da week, halfway done, this much closer to
freedom, ooooohhh yeaaaah SPRING BREAK BABY! mmhmmm. But, until then, gotta
stay focused nawmean (know what i mean)? Anywho, I've run out of things to
babble about sooo.... on to Scripture.

Kyoo, I read Hebrews 13:1,2.... checkit

1 Keep on loving each other as brothers. 2 Do not forget to entertain
strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without
      knowing it.

Keep on loving. Keep on lovin who? Each other. As what? As bruthaz and
sistaz. Checkit, would you, in maturity, beat down your sister? (i say in
maturity cuz i KNOW when we was youngins, heh heh, it didnt really matter
since youngins fight youngins girl or guy, lil kids heh heh) Or would you
paralyze your bro? Or would you cheat your bro or sis out of cash, home, or...
life? As such, the Word says keep on loving each other as brothers so that
each one will treat each other that way. But ya gots ta becareful now, cuz
this is talking about bruthaz and sistaz in the faith. It's talking about
conduct that should occur in the family of Christ. The greatest command is
love. And so within the body, if we truly glowing with the character of God,
we been dealin in love with each other, and loving each other as bruthaz and
sistaz. What would it say about peeps who claim to be in the body, yet do
everything but loving each one as a bro or a sis? For one, it could cause
dissension within. But much worse, it could cause one who is seeking the one
called Christ to stop his/her search for all displayed before him/her are
living oxymorons, people who say one thing but do another. As one of my
bruthaz at DKE likes to say, "Don't be that guy," because he/she risks causing
someone to lose a chance at finding God, and finding Life. Who would want
that rap on their record? Hence, keep on loving, showing by example as well
as speech the true character of God, and the true body of Christ. The second
verse is mad tight too. It tells us not to forget to entertain strangers.
Some peeps will be like, "Why? a stranger is a stranger, i got my piece, he
got his piece, i mind my biz, he minds his biz, why i got ta have anything ta
do wit him?" Well, let's read the rest of the verse, "... for by so doing
some people have entertained angels without knowing it." Wow, now that is
mad tight. Imagine, you just helpin out as stranger, doing your good deed of
the day. And then you leave. Yet, little did you, that kat you helped was an
angel, one who reports directly to peeps, one who has seen Pops and continues
to see him. That's mad tight, but there are other reasons to entertain
strangers too. One, it shows love; two it shows God through you; three, you
may have just stopped someone from committing suicide (little did you know);
four, you may just be talking to you future boss; five, you may just be
talking to someone who has exactly what you need and by you entertaining a
stranger, you now have it (like gettin hooked up with a phat job, a phat deal
on a car, and other such phatnessities). You just never know who it is you
are actually talking to. By acting in love in all things, many good things
will flow from your cup as well as blessings being bestowed upon you.

Aight sistaz and bruthaz, time ta bizounce, check yall later

      God bless,

      - patrick

         03 - 26 - 01

  Whatup whatup whatuP!

yo, im in da Big Apple, on Spring Break, chillin. heh heh mmhmmmm.
This is awesome, don't havent done any work for the past 3 days. Mad tight.
Gonna have to start today though, but it's all good cuz i had my sefl a nice
vacation from doing work.  Any who, i got to see my uncle whom i havent seen
in a while.  My other uncle, however, isnt doing so hot so I ask you to keep
him in prayer.  The place where he is is not a safe place.  My aunt is fine,
and my cousins are chillin too.  There is only ONE problem up in this
piece....... its MAAAD HOT!  why? i have no clue, but its too hot yo, too
hot.  Matter o' fact,. hold on one sec, im gonna open a window =|;?)
Aight, done.  Okay, on to Scripture

Kyoo, I read stuff in Luke, John, and Romans.  Lots of stuff (in Luke and
John) about the Pharisees plottin on Jesus but failing each time cuz Jesus is
mad tight and turns their traps back on them, heh heh heh.   Anyway, Romans
9:30-32 was pretty kool.  Here it is yo

30 What then shall we say?  That the Gentiles, who did not pursue
     righteousness, have obtained it, a righteousness that is by faith;
31 but Israel, who pursued a law of righteousness, has not attained
it.  32 Why not?  Because they pursued it not by faith but as if
it were by works. They stumbled over the "stumbling stone."

Who are Gentiles?  Gentiles, basically, are those who are non-jews.  And
apparently, these Gentiles have obtained righteousness.  But how is that
possible?  If Israel are God's chosen people, how is it that they did not
gain righteousness, but the Gentiles had?  Interesting to say the least.
Well, lets  take a look.  The Gentiles "have obtained it..."  What is it?
".. a righteousness that is by faith."  oohhhh, one that is by  faith, aight
aight.  What about Israel, how does the Word drop da knowledge... Like so,
"Israel, who pursued a law of righteousness..."  yeah aaaand, "has not
attained it"  Whoa, so it seems that there is only one type of righteousness,
and the Gentiles got it..... with out if lookin' for it!?  Mad tight, mad
tight.  So how come Israel couldn't find it and they WERE lookin' for it?  As
we read on, we see the mistake.  "...they pursued it not by faith..."   They
pursued, but lacked the most important ingredient, da hot stuff (mmhmm, you
know, da stuff that makes food maaad spicy, whoooweee, i can taste it right
now, mmmmmm), faith yo, faith.  That's the stuff that gives you a good
spiritual kick, a little extra umph, turn a mustard seed into the grandest of
trees.  And Israel forgot it, and instead sought to attain righteousnesss
through works.  They pursued after a righteousness by works, which does not
exist.  Else they would have found it, but the Word says they did not.  So a
righteousness by works, man that's another way of sayin, "I'm letting time
slip by, time never to be seen again or relived, time that when is passed, is
gone forever."   Time is to precious to be wastin yo.  But that's another
story.  Righteousness, how can one attain it.  Well lts see, Abraham was
justified by faith.....  And right here, it says the gentiles, kats who were
just chillin and not searching for righteousness but only God, found it....
by faith.  Ah, there lies the answer, righteousness is gained by faith.  And
"faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the
word of Christ" (Romans 10:17).  And part of that message is that we are
saved by Grace, by the Grace of God, hence we need only have faith, true
faith, and be delivered, hence by Grace we become righteous..... all through
faith.  Mad tight huh?  It is a gift, it is given to us by Pops yo.  Pops
just has it sittin right there, all we have to do is go and get it.  We don't
have to prove ourselves worthy through doing works.  We would go mad with
insanity.  In fact we would lose sight of the meaning of the whole thing and
instead will try to do the absolute minimum necessary to "win."   And then
what does it all mean?  If you get to the top, what then?  What difference
does it make that you get to the top, but missed everything along the
journey?  What is left?  Nuthin yo, in his/her haste to get there they missed
all that was important, all the growth.  In Jiu Jitsu, we say such a person
missed the art, they just flew right by it, they have no clue what the art
really is and never will cuz all they saw was the belt, that next rank, not
the knowledge, not the art,  not the love.  In the same way, dont race, dont
try to gain righteousness by "proving" it, by doing works alone.  Faith
potnas, faith.  For God bestows upon us grace and gives us this gift.  A gift
is merely given, not earned. Let's not drive ourself crazy with tryin make it
there by immersing ourselves totally in works and missing everything in
between.  Or we'll miss it completely.  Works are important, and they come.
If one has faith, tru  faith, works follow as a result, ya get da best of
both.

Aight potnas, time for me to bizounce!  Go back ta chillin some mo
(these windows aren't helpin to lessen the heat though, its still mad hot).
Take care bruthaz and sistaz, this has been mo' word fo' yo' bird.  heh heh,
peace.

  God bless,

    - patrick

         03 - 28 - 01

  Goooooooooooooooood Morning,

How are you doing this wednesday?  Doin work? (heh heh heh).
Yesterday I went to Times Square Church in Manhattan, it was PHAT!  Da place
was hot (not to mention the architecture inside).  It was an  awesome
experience.  I don't know whats up for today, but we shall see.  I still
can't seem to find a place that sells nunchucks (now its buggin me too).  Ahh
well.  In any case, on to Scripture.

    Kyoo, I read  Matthew 7:18-23

18 John's disciples told him about all these things.  Calling two of them,
19 he sent them to the Lord to ask, "Are ou the one who was to come, or
should we expect someone else?"  20 When the men came to Jesus,
they said, "John the Baptist sent us to you to ask, 'Are you the one who
was to come, or should we expect someone else?'"  21 At that very time
Jesus cured many who had diseases, sicknesses and evil spirits, and
gave sight to many who were blind.  22 So he replied to the messengers,
"Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard:  The blind
receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf
hear, the dead are raised, the good news is preached to the poor.
23 Blessed is the man who does not fall away on account of me."

John the Baptist was da bomb yo.  He was the kat that prepared the way for
Jesus Christ.  He preached a message of repentence and baptized peeps.  And
then, when Jesus came to be baptized, John the Baptists knew it was he whom
he was preparing the way, baptized homeboy, and then proclaimed him to be the
Son of God.  So the question arises, why does John now have a smidgen of
doubt?  He sent his posse to ask Jesus whether or not Jesus was indeed the
one although he already proclaimed Jesus to be when he baptized him.  Don't
make no sense huh?  Sure it does, Johnny boy is human, and humans are
sometimes influenced by outside pressures.  Checkit, mad crowds are comin to
see Jesus, some with good report, other with bad report.  In other words,
some crowds provide enthusiastic support, others outright rejection.  Johnny
boy is hearing all this, and begins to wonder.  So he sends out his posse to
ask da man.  And he gets his answer (a mad tight one too heh heh) and is
reassured.  See, the crowd can be very influential and say things to mess
with our minds and doubt that which we know to be true.  But that is where we
must rest, secure in the knowledge and in the truth, and let not the crowd
sway us.  Gotta remain strong yo, grounded in the Word.   And if doubt does
arise, look to the Word, and be reassured.  Talk to a brutha or sista who is
strong in the Word and can help ya out.  All in all, don't compromise the
truth because of the crowd.

Aight peeps, its dat time.  I'll check yall later. Peace out bruthaz and
sistaz.

God bless,
   - patrick

         03 - 30 - 01

      Yo Yo,

What's happenin peeps? Nothin much over here, just a rainy friday.
Today is also gonna be a "get lots of work done" day. Classes begin again
on Monday, grrrrr. heh heh. I am back at school by the way, for those of
you who don't know. Anywho, on to some Word.

Kyoo, I read Romans. Here is Romans 12:16

Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing
to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

This makes maaad sense. How can we live in harmony with each other? Well,
for one, we can 1. not be prideful 2. Don't look down on others 3. Not be
conceited. Now all those are connected. If this kat has one of them,
s/he probably has all of them. Hence, this kat will have a hard time livin
in harmony with other peeps. Contrast one who is prideful and one who is
humble.... whom do you like better? What about one who has confidence?
mmhmmm, there's a difference. One can have confidence yet be humble, and
another can have confidence but rub it in everyone's face. Whom do you like
better? Pretty simple huh, makes perfect sense. He that is prideful, full
of themselves, also alienate themselves. Do they have real friends? That's
a good question, for s/he probably won't be able to distinguish between them.
Seems pretty sad to me. Not to mention that this kat is making tons of enemies
with a quickness. So what is there to gain from being prideful and full of
oneself? So far, i have yet to see a positive thing. Well, there may exist
some, but it seems the negatives outweigh the positives, not to mention this
kat must forever watch his back since there is no harmony between him/her and
those around him/her. Checkit, Jesus chilled with who? Those of low
position, those who were less fortunate. He also chilled with those of high
position, those who were fortunate. What did these two groups have in common?
They swallowed their pride and were not conceited. Hence, as Jesus spoke,
they actually heard. Meanwhile, da kats who were prideful did not hear.
Instead they sought ways to find holes in Jesus' words (and were forever
searching). They were their to ensnare him, and instead of receiving the
Word, they blocked it out with their hardness of heart, their pride. Pride can
be a good thing, but too much of it, and it is ones downfall, big time. Too
much of it and we begin to make ourselves superior and others inferior. Too much
of it and we fail to hear those around us. Too much of it... we create chaos,
not harmony, and enemies up da wuzzy. Peeps will turn their back with a
quickness, cuz they have no real relationship with that kat. It's a sad state of
affairs. Shame yo, shame. SO!!! Potnas!!! Let's not be that guy, and remain in
harmony. That way we'll be packin our spiritual uzzies, and, as one, bustin'
open a can o' whuppin' on da Evil One. heh heh heh.

Aight peeps. Time ta bounce. This has been mo' word fo' yo' bird ;)
