      Hey Hey,

I say, "WHAT UP!!" from way over here in Dallas, TX. Yup yup, zat is
correct, I am now in Dallas workin at TI again, and chillin. I'm makin new
friends, seeing old friends, etc etc. AND I FINALLY have a workstation!! Which
means, I can write emails and such again, check da web, cause a ruckus, et
cetera heh heh. As far as these go, I have to send them out to packets of
people since TI's email program can't handle that many addresses at one time
(somethin about character limits, blah blah). Anywho, life is good Praise Be To
da One Above. If you have time, hit a brutha back wit a reply. Meanwhile, on
to Scripture.

Kyoo (today), I read Acts 3 and 4. This verse right here is tight, checkit
Acts 4:12-14

12 "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name
under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." 13 When they
saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were
unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note
that these men had been with Jesus. 14 But since they could see
the man who had been healed standing there with them, there was
      nothing they could say.

A lil background fa ya: This was after homeboy Jesus ascended back into
heaven, after the Holy Spirit came and dwelled within da apostles, after they
added Matthias to the 12. Somewhere around there. So Petey boy and John just
healed this kat who could not walk, went into the temple (the healed guy
followed them, dancing and praising Pops above). And the people were
astonished, then Pete and John began speaking to the people, droppin some PHAT
knowledge. Anywho the Sadduccees and temple guard seized and arrested them for
the night. Next day the dynamic duo was brought before the high priests and
such and questioned. Then Peter "filled with the Holy Spirit" dropped some
serious knowledge on these wanna be's... in only a few words. This brings us to
the above verses. 13 is what got me, these high priests saw the courage of our
two potnas. Not only that, they realized that this duo was unschooled. On top
of that, they were ordinary men! Yet they spoke with courage, power, strength,
and profound knowledge. HOW can such men do this? And "they were astonished."
Wow.... wow.... talk about packin a spiritual uzi. And so, "they took note that
these men had been with..." guess who? Jesus. That's deep yo, deep. The
fact that they had been with Jesus was clear to the high priests and it showed
in Peter and John's manner, speech, strength, honor, truthfullness, courage, and
the list can go on. It's like.... BAAAAAM! Ya walk with Jesus and ya get da
goods. ya heard? So potnas and potnaettes, let's walk with Jesus, i mean fa
real, in such a way that peeps can't help but take note that we are with Jesus.
No doubt.

Aight my bruthaz and sistaz, time for me ta get ta work. You know how that
is. Hopefully I'll hear from some of yous guys (had ta get that NY accent in
there somewhere, heh heh). Peace.

      God bless,

Whut up whut up! It's friday peeps! And Tomb Raider comes out today. I
don't know how good it's going to be but hey, it's sumtim ta do. We had a
massive storm last night, it was tight. Lightning was flashing everywhere, the
clouds were menacing and seemed to portent doom, i had ta take a picture heh
heh. Other than that, things are going well. Next week I start hittin da gym
again (ooooh can't wait ;) mmhmmm). And I just heard some really good news
from one of my friend. But I can't really say unless of course she gives me da
okay, nawmean? Aight well, now that I have your suspense (heh heh heh) on to

      Checkit, 2 Corinthians 4 13-18

13 It is written: "I believed; therefore I have spoken." With that
same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak,
14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the
dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in his
presence. 15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that
is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow
to the glory of God. 16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though
outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed
day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving
for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix
our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is
seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Wow, that's some powerfull stuff. First it states da simple: with a spirit of
faith, we believe hence we speak. That is so simple. It's like ya got da truth
welling up within ya trying to burst it's way out and ya can't help but speak,
because with faith you believe... and hence share that awesome truth, da Good
News. And then, homeboy goes and gives us a lil justification for urge ta
speaketh. One lil sumtim sumtim is that we know da Kat who raised da Christ
from the dead is 'bout ta do da same thing for us, with Jesus, and present us to
da big Kahuna --> Pops! Talk about tight tight tight. Knowing this, man, we
gotta let da word out, fa real yo. Why? "so that the grace that is reaching
more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God."
Not to mention the other benefits like eternal life, etc. But first and
foremost is so that the grace reaches more and more peeps. Word! Hence, we
ain't gotta trip (lose heart) cuz inwardly bruthaz and sistaz, we are renewed
day by day. CAN I GET AMEN! heh heh. Not week by week brethren, no, it's day
by day that we get renewed. Ya think current troubles are bad. pssshhhhh, man
forget dat. They are only "achieving for us an eternal glory..." Let's see,
momentary trouble versus eternal glory... momentary trouble versus eternal
glory...hmmmm... ETERNAL GLORY BABY! Not only is it eternal, it out matches,
out fights, out wits, and outweighs all "light and momentary troubles." In
other words, they ain't nothin hence they can't hold us. They can try, but the
inevitable will happen, they will fail cuz Pops, he's got our back. So, what's
the bottom line? verse 18 yo

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.
For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Mmmhmmmm, awww yeaaah, WORD to ma homies, straight up with G. Kinda tight
huh? So, if ya believe, speak dat truth. Troubles come around, give 'em da
boot. Tryin ta trip, drop dat spiff and realize ya gettin' renewed day by day.
Eyes a creepin, fix 'em... that is, fix 'em on what is unseen since it's
eternal, and the alternative, man... it's wack ie. temporary. Peace out bruthaz
and sistas... love, strength, and honor.

      God bless,

      - patrick

Goooooooood Morning!

Whut up whut up! How are you doing this fine friday? Man, friday's are
awesome, it's like the end of the work week, the end of the school week, and
it's friday. Everybody likes friday, cuz everybody knows that's the day we all
just chill, relax, have some fun, hang out with friends, beat on lil' bruthaz
(heh heh), etc. Mad tight. Second week at TI is coming to a close, as well as
my first week of hittin da gym again... and believe you me, it feels GOOD hittin
da gym again. And for those of you who know, its that twice a day routine, yup
yup. I'm still crazy. I just want to also warn you guys, if you receive an
email about some dumb snow white and the seven dwarfs "the real story", do not
open it and definitely DO NOT download the file. I suspect it is a virus. In
common practice, you should not download any files having ".scr", then tend to
be scripts and virus bound. So unless you know the sender, WATCH OUT! Aight
peeps on to Scripture yo (and it is maaaad tight today).

Kyoo (today) I read Acts 5. Verses 35-39 pack a mean whallop,
chickittycheck this out yo!

35 Then he addressed them: "Men of Israel, consider carefully what
you intend to do to these men. 36 Some time ago Theudas appeared,
claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him.
He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came
to nothing. 37 After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days
of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was
killed, and all his followers were scattered. 38 Therefore, in
the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go!
For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail.
      39 But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men;
you will only find yourselves fighting against God."

BAAAAAAM! Heeeeeck yeah! See that? Mad tight huh? That's why I made the
subject of this Scripture "Word!" Let me give ya a lil' background. The
apostles were doing God's thing, preaching and teaching the Good News. Then the
sadducees came and got them arreseted. Low and behold and angel came and let
them out dat prison (ain't no problem for Pops yo) and told them to teach
in the temple courts. So that what they did. Now the Sadduccees had brought
the Sanhendrin and went to go check out the jail to cause a ruckus. They found
no one except the guards and a securely locked a jail cell. There were like,
"YO, what da dilly!? Where are these kats!?" Then they found out Peter and
company are teaching in the temple courts. So the drag 'em out again and speake
to them. That's where the verses above come in. A Pharisee named Gamaliel
spoke this. The verses to concentrate on are 38 and 39. Talk about powerful.
Homeboy Gamaliel gave the Sanhendrin two cases where wannabes tried to start
sumtim. They died and their so called "posse" spread like roaches when the
lights come on. So homeboy says to the sanhendrin, "Yo, don't bother. Just let
these kats go. Cuz if they actin on their own accord, by human-centeredness,
they gonna fall flat on their face and fail. Bahlee dat. BUT, if these kats are
actin from God, by God-centeredness, from GOD, yo you better back off. Cuz
fellas, ain't no way you'll be able to stop these guys and you will soon find
yourselves fighting not against them, not against men, but against God... and
me, I don't want none o' dat heeecks naw." What he says here is so powerful and
speaks volumes to us all. You know and I know full well that we as humans fail
alot alot alot. And movements, they fail too. But what we need to realize is,
if we try to do sumtim without Pops... God help ya. But if you are from Pops,
main ain't nothin gonna stop you. Why? For the simple fact that it's Pops
workin through you. If it ain't your own hand but God's, how can homeboy over
there stop you? They may think they are fighting you, the man or the woman, but
in reality, they are tryin to put a stop to God. THAT'S LUDICROUS YO! How can
one put a stop to a being who created the universe. Do you that there are stars
that shoot bands of energy and light in opposite directions? That's nothing
right, but check this, these bands of energy, they are bigger then our very own
milky way galaxy of which our solar system is only a speck. That's HUGE. And we
gonna try and fight da man who made that? I don't know about you, but me, i
know that's a fight i can't win. And I'd much rather have that guy watchin my
back. So bruthaz and sistaz, do things with God, keep Pops as number 1 and in
all that you do. Cuz then he's got yo back, and he is working through you and
no man can stop Pops above. bahlee dat.

aight peeps, i'm hungry so i'm going to get myself a lil sumtim sumtim,
nawmean? Take care bruthaz and sistaz! Strength and honor (compliments of

      God bless,

Hey Hey Hey,

It's another Monday peeps. How was the weekend? Do anything fun and excitin?
It was pretty good over here. Friday went to a place called gameworks, it was
mad tight. Saturday was uneventful due to a miscommunication. And Sunday was
church, and that was tight. Other than that, I played some games, read some
books, played some music, and rapped a lil' bit. But now it's another week and
I can't wait to see what God has in store. mmhmmmm, on to Scripture.

Kyoo (today), I read a couple chapters in Acts. In Chapter 10, a couple
profound things were mentioned. Checkit

15 The voice spoke to him a second time, "Do not call anything
impure that God has made clean.

34 Then Peter began to speak: "I now realize how true it is
that God does not show favoritism..."

mm mm mm, that's straight up G-knowledge. The first verse was when Petey boy
was having a vision. He saw this sheet and mad (lots) of "four-footed animals,
as well as reptiles of the earth and birds fo the air" (verse 12). And the
voice told him to Get up, kill, and eat. But petey, being all law abiding and
stuff said, "naw lo, Lord! I ain't never ate nothin impure or unclean." And
then the voice said verse 15 to him, and it happened 3 times. Bruthaz and
sistaz, if Pops has made sumtim clean, that bad boy is cleeeaan, buhlee dat.
The reason Petey was having this vision was cuz Pops was sendin some gents
(gentiles -> non-jews) to come pick him up (3 of 'em, iiiinteresting no?) and
bring him back to an Italian, believing, centurion. According to Jewish law,
jews and gents don't play (ie jews ain't supposed ta associate with or visit a
gent verse 28). But God is above such petty laws peeps and he wanted petey to
know dis, hence the vision. See if petey was stuck in a ruft, and fell into
tradition, he would be calling sumtim God made clean impure! This was a huge
lesson for Pete man, and for us, and it leads into another great realization.
As Pete told these gents the Good News, the believing kats became baptized in
the Holy Spirit (ie, da Spirit came upon them). Pete and his boys knew this cuz
the gents began speaking in tongues and praisin Pops. To us nowadays we like,
yeah that's kool. But to Pete and his boys, it was almost revolutionary. These
were gentiles, not Jews. They had not even been baptized in water. And again,
they were GENTILES! Yet, "the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even
on the Gentiles." They were "astonished." That's mad powerful, mad powerful,
and Pete realized that Pops, man he ain't showin' favoritism. Heck naw, for all
are his creation. Therefore "he accepts men from every nation who fear him and
do what is right." Mad poweful yo, mad powerful. So if some kat says, Pops
favors me more than anybody else, point him to this Scripture. Pops loves us
all, everyone and bestows gifts on any who come to him. So peeps, if ya was
brought up being taught that sumtim sumtim is unclean, be sure to evaluate it
with Scripture. Ya never know, Pops might send ya some circumstances yo way and
expect ya ta bounce up out of that tradition and handle bizness for all he makes
clean are pure.

Aight peeps, its been tight. If yall ain't busy, hit me up with a 411, I'll
be here 8 hours nawmean, heh heh. Latah peeps.

      God bless,

      - patrick
